The 2013 Forum provides leading organizations and corporations with an exceptional opportunity to help transform the lives of millions of families in developing countries by supporting the development of innovative and collaborative solutions to address the harmful effects associated with the use of traditional cookstoves and open fires. Not only does support of the Forum allow companies to help spur improvements in health, environment, and economic opportunities for more than half the world’s population through support for clean cookstoves and fuels, it also offers them a unique chance to better understand the needs of consumers at the base of the pyramid in some of the world’s fastest growing markets.
The Alliance is committed to hosting a rich multi-sectorial event, with broad reach and appeal to government, private sector, academic, non-profit, and UN experts in health, climate, gender, research, development, and more. The forum will be free to all participants. Additionally, the Alliance will offer travel scholarships to a small percentage of attendees. The elimination of financial barriers for attendees is crucial for diverse attendance and is only achievable through generous sponsorship support. The travel scholarships will ensure important stakeholders from developing countries and small-scale organizations can attend and contribute to this important event.
Specifically, the Alliance offers prospective sponsors a range of options to support this exciting initiative through:
